ABOUT

Hello! I’m Annie, a maths tutor and Neuroscience graduate from the University of Exeter. I have always felt passionately that anyone can excel in maths with the right guidance and support. Through the safe, open environments I create in my lessons, students feel listened to and supported. I approach lessons with the understanding that each student needs a programme tailored to their specific needs and learning styles, so they can grow in confidence and progress at their own pace. With encouragement, patience and the right tricks, there’s always a way to make maths enjoyable, interesting and simple!

Personalised learning: Lessons are customised to cater to the student’s specific needs and learning style, ensuring they develop a deep understanding of mathematical concepts and enabling them to build a strong foundation from which to progress with confidence.

Progress tracking: Student progress is monitored and lesson plans adjusted accordingly. Feedback is provided to parents after each lesson and detailed written progress reports sent out termly.

Convenient: Learning online is flexible and convenient allowing students to connect with the tutor at a time that suits them and from the comfort of their own home. By utilising a variety of online tools, such as interactive whiteboards and document sharing, a dynamic and engaging learning environment is created.

Comfortable: Online tutoring can offer a relaxed and supportive setting for children who are anxious or feel intimidated by face-to-face interactions. This allows students to gradually build rapport with their tutor and focus on their academic goals.
